Description illumilore 2011-07-10 02:54:39 UTC
Version: 1.6.1 (using Devel)
OS: Linux

Whenever dragging a file or folder from one window to another using dolphin (with no modifier keys pressed), instead of it moving the file or folder, a prompt always appears with asking for options about what to do. I looked in the preferences, under general setting, behavior tab, but there doesn't seem to be an option to turn this off.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
see above

Actual Results:
an annoying prompt always comes up

Expected Results:
For it to move or copy the file based on its location, similar to how nautilus, windows, or most other file managers do it.
Or for there to be an option to turn the prompts off.

For years, many people have reported this, but the KDE team just wouldn't listen.
