Description Anders Lund 2011-07-09 11:13:21 UTC
Version: 2.1.1 (using KDE 4.6.4)
OS: Linux

Selectingh a group form the addressbook results in a mail to "groupname@hostname" instead of a mail to the group members. This is one of the major inconveniences with kmail since kaddressbook switched to akonadi.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
select a group to send the mail to

Actual Results:
mail sent to likely unexisting address "groupname@hostname"

Expected Results:
mail sent to group members

OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.39-ARCH
Compiler: gcc

it works fine nepomuk works on your computer
Comment 2 Anders Lund 2012-01-18 08:21:52 UTC
Yes, this has been working for some time.

Frankly, I think any feature depending on nepomuk working should produce a messagebox if nepomuk is not answering, or the result is broken, and applications with features depending on nepomuk should also check for its state at startup and warn the user if the state is broken.
