Description Aleksey 2011-07-07 19:48:31 UTC
Version: 4.6 pre (using KDE 4.6.4)
OS: Linux

Akonadi checks mail even if there's no internet connection, and I'm constantly receiving errors that it can't find mail servers. When I disabled kmail notification in system settings nothing changed.

Wish - let akonadi don't check mail if there's no internet connection and there will be no useless notifications. After ~2 hours of autonomous work these notifications are accumulated and start to annoy.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Expected Results:
When there's no internet connection akonadi/kmail must not send error notifications that mail server is unavailable.

In KDE 4.7.1 akonadi continues to check mail if there's no internet connection and constantly gives error messages.

In kde 4.7.4 anything is fine.
