Description Patrick 2011-07-07 18:41:33 UTC
Version: unspecified
OS: Linux

Please add three new Go Daddy root certificates to the Mozilla/Firefox root
store.

Friendly names are:

Go Daddy Root Certificate Authority - G2
Starfield Root Certificate Authority - G2
Starfield Services Root Certificate Authority - G2

Purposes within the CA hierarchy associated with the CA certificate:
          o SSL-enabled servers,
          o digitally-signed and/or encrypted email, or
o digitally-signed executable code objects - These three roots will be
used for all purposes including SSL, email, and code signing

A Certificate Policy and Certification Practice Statement (or links to a CP
and CPS) or equivalent disclosure document(s) for the CA or CAs in question -
https://certificates.godaddy.com/repository (note that these new roots are not
yet posted on our repository page, but will be added)

We are WebTrust certified. We perform domain ownership verification on all certificates issued.

The new certificates have been added to Microsoft's and have been approved by Mozilla.

KDE does not ship or include certificates.
Please ask your distribution.

Brad Hards was who Go Daddy worked with the past and he stated we now need to go through a bug request. Is this no longer the case?

I don't remember discussing this with you recently.

However I understand that the KDE root store is being phased out, and I'm not planning to add any new certificates at this stage. There is a fairly large backlog of certs should we start doing this again.

See comment #4. Also the fact that we are using Qt's cert bundle now???
