Comment 1 Moritz Moeller-Herrmann 2003-06-08 17:55:06 UTC
I am pretty sure the bug still exists, but due to bug # 38448, I can' reproduce it at the moment.
Comment 2 Luís Pedro Coelho 2003-06-25 23:40:30 UTC
Now that bug 38448 is fixed, we can see this again.

What I see is that there are the normal webbrowser icons and when you bring a
frame to focus, then that frame's own icons appear. So, normally there are the khtml
icons which include zoomIn/zoomOut and when the kghostview frame is brought to
focus, then other zoom icons come into the toolbar. The first pair is always active
and only works on the page thingy. The second pair works on the pdf display.

The behaviour now is similiar to what happens to text documents, so I am pretty sure
this is not a kghostview bug (I think the khtml part is probably too blame, here).
Therefore, I am reassigning to konqueror.

For a test case see: http://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=1745&action=view

with kpdf on kde 3.5.2 I can only choose to fit width and then change the size of the small preview sidebar to increase the magnification of the pdf.

page now defunct.
Comment 9 Moritz Moeller-Herrmann 2008-11-25 01:13:07 UTC
Please read the entire bug report before closing as invalid. I can still reproduce the bug using the test cases attached several years ago....
Comment 10 Dawit Alemayehu 2012-01-28 00:45:17 UTC
KDE 2 and 3 are no longer maintained. If this issue still persists under KDE 4.x (v4.8.0 at the time of this reply), feel free to reopen this ticket.
