I do not receive any offline messages with Kopete. I have tested with a few contacts after I suspected this behavior and my test confirmed that even though they have send me messages while I was logged out, I did not receive them. I checked the message history to make sure I did not see the notification, but even there noting was displayed.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Contacts send me messages while Kopete is not running

Actual Results:  
no messages are received after Kopete is started

Expected Results:  
Messages are received and displayed as offline messages

OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.37.6-0.5-default
Compiler: gcc

This bug report is dead because you forgot to specify what IM protocol you use.

same here. I am using google chat and facebook. both are xmmp servers.

for google talk: this is problem on google server, they stopped supporting offline messages via XMPP
for facebook: they turned off their XMPP server

so closing as invalid
