Version:           Git (master) (using KDE 4.6.4) 
OS:                Linux

The "Preview" field in the popups sometimes show contents that do not match the message being hovered. Most often, the popup "Preview" content matches the contents of previously deleted messages. All other fields in the popup seem to correspond to the actual message being hovered.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Delete some mesages.
Hover remaining messages in the message list.


Actual Results:  
For some messages, the "preview" field in the popup does not match the message content.

Expected Results:  
The message preview needs to match the message content.

OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.38-10-generic

I can confirm this bug. My system is:
Gentoo Kernel 3.0.1
KDE 4.7.3
KMail 4.7.3
AMD64 Dual Core

The problem seems to be solved in KDE 4.8.0, as delivered with Gentoo Linux. However, the popup used to show part of the message. Now it only shows header information.

Fixed in 4.9
