Description pontus ekh 2011-07-04 17:03:44 UTC
Version:           4.6.0 (using KDE 4.6.0)
OS:                Linux

I have a recurring todo and when I mark it as completed it is supposed to calculate the next deadline and add a new todo in the todo list. The todo is added but incorrectly. Instead it will calculate the one after the next. Scenario:

I want to have a todo deadline the first every month. I do this and get one
 * Deadline 1 mars
I mark this as completed and instead of
 * Deadline 1 april
I get
 * Deadline 1 may.
I get this for every time of recurrance, daily weekly, last friday every month and so on.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
Reproducing is easy for me. Just try to mark a recurring todo as completed and I will get the described issue.

Expected Results:
Instead of creating a new todo as the one after the one its supposed to I want it to produce a todo with the correct deadline.

Weird. I'm not able to reproduce this any more.

Is it an all-day event ?
Can you try kde 4.7 ?
Which time zone are you in?
Comment 2 pontus ekh 2011-08-02 19:07:46 UTC
I am using opensuse 11.4 with kde 4.6. I tried to update to 4.7 via repos (marked as unstable) and did not get kde 4.7 to work as expected.

It is not an event it is an todo which I believe cannot be made an all day event. Time zone is GMT +1 (stockholm, etc).

Is the todo's in kontact under product: korganizer or have I reported this to the wrong product?
Comment 3 Sergio Martins 2011-08-02 22:28:01 UTC
The korganizer product is correct.

I mean an all day to-do ( a due date without time )
Comment 4 pontus ekh 2011-08-03 13:22:08 UTC
Yes it is an all day todo.

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of korganizer (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.
Comment 6 Denis Kurz 2017-01-07 22:33:08 UTC
Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
