now I want to post the two most annoying usecases for my:
1. Up to now I could not find a single text writing program where I see popping up keyboard on hitting writing area. Neither kate, kwrite nor calligra words do work. In calligra I first tap into the fontname field to activate the keyboard, then I can change to the text area to write. Unfortunately calligra often is broken and can not be started anyway. (like at the moment since my last upgrade this evening)

2. within the konsole.

For all mentioned use cases the on-screen keyboard should pop up. Aaron fixed it for kate and calligra word, if I am informed correctly.

Thus, this bug can probably be marked as fixed.

If any apps are left which don't work, separate reports are welcome. This one goes [x].
