Ps.: I don't own a joystick.
Comment 2 Christoph Feck 2011-06-30 19:55:12 UTC
Are you using KDE 4.7 RC1 or KDE 4.6.4? The backtrace says version 4.6.4. If you are mixing versions, it won't work.
Comment 3 Unknown 2011-06-30 20:23:35 UTC
Up to this moment I thought I'm using RC 1.

But at openSUSE the KDE 4.7 RC 1 is so mixed up and bad quality (there are at least 3 different repositories from RC, no KDEPIM at all etc.).
I'm using KDE:/Release:/47/openSUSE_11.4 and after installing I rebooted twice.

I see that the kdebase4-workspace doesn't even have a 4.6.90 version. Sorry for the inconvenience. Maybe a Kubuntu would have been a better choice for testing.
Comment 4 Christoph Feck 2011-06-30 21:05:58 UTC
Do you have any /dev/js* or /dev/input/js* entries in the file system?

In KDE 4.7.3 the joystick control panel module works fine.
Could you please, Zen Zenaya, confirm it (because as I saw your duplicate bug is attached to this one)?
Comment 9 Zen Zenaya 2011-11-25 15:06:51 UTC
I'm sorry but this is not my reported bug.

Greez!

Because now I don't see any other crashes related to the joystick control panel module, I close this bug as fixed.
