Description Antonio Rojas 2011-06-29 17:38:25 UTC
Version: 2.0.95 (using Devel)
OS: Linux

The email address autocompletion from akonadi contacts behaves strangely in KDEPIM 4.6+

- The first time a name or address is typed, it doesn't find any matches until the full name is typed (in 4.4 it started finding matches from the first character)
- After that, the contacts that have already been found appear only by typing one of their characters, but only those who have been found before by typing the full name

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
- Start typing a name or address from your address book -> kmail doesn't auto-complete until the first name is fully typed
- Remove the name and start typing again -> it is auto-completed from the first character

Expected Results:
- The contact appears in the autocompletion list from the first (maybe the first 2 or 3) character typed

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.39-ARCH
Compiler: gcc
