Description Shankar Prasad 2011-06-28 10:03:55 UTC
Version: 1.2 (KDE 4.6) (using KDE 4.6.3)
OS: Linux

When we paste some indic text in between a para of indic text, the cursor position will not be in desired place.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open any .po file in lokalize. Ex: http://websvn.kde.org/*checkout*/trunk/l10n-kde4/hi/messages/kdebase/dolphin.po
2. Copy some indic text. Say for example, copy some text from http://hi.wikipedia.org/ and paste it "in between" the hindi text in above mentioned .po file.
3. Check the cursor position.

Actual Results:
The cursor moves several characters ahead from its desired position.

Expected Results:
Cursor should be at the end of the text which has just placed

I did the screecasting by inserting a Gujarati text with in the Kannada string. In this, I tried to insert the text just before "<br>" and I expected the cursor position should be there itself. But it moved till "<br/". This is moves still further when place larger texts.
