Description Jure Repinc 2011-06-27 13:38:55 UTC
Version: 2.1.0 (using KDE 4.6.4)
OS: Linux

Everytime I start KMail it appears to go through all the e-mail and starts applying the anti-spam filtering with SpamAssasin. I don't even click the button to Check for new mail, I just start Kmail. If I open the detailed progress window it shows several item saying "filtering messages" and I can see spamassasin process in KSysGuard. The KMail is set to fetch POP3 mail and I have configured MySQL for akonadi storage. I also have a lot of mail and have filters set up to move them into specific folders.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start KMail

Actual Results:
KMail starts filtering messages with spamassasin

Expected Results:
It should probably filter new messages only when KMail fetches new messages from POP3 e-mail server and shouldn't run it on already local and filtered mail.

Awesome, thanks! Any possibility to also backport to 4.7/2.1?
