Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.2) OS: Linux It would be a nice feature to be able to print route summary with way points and instructing of direction changes for navigation without PC. Reproducible: Didn't try OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.38-8-generic-pae Compiler: cc
Marble includes the current route when printing. There are options in the print dialog (marble tab) that can be used to configure it. Per default the map, the via points, turn instructions and some footer text is printed. See http://nienhueser.de/marble/marble-route.pdf for an example. Note that (mostly due to limitations in the Qt printing API) the print preview dialog does not show the route related parts. They are available in the "real" printout, however.
Thank you very much for your answer. You are right, I was really confused through the print preview. It would be nice if it could be changed – KDE has a lot of features but not all are good visible for users. Thanks once more.
I hope that Qt 5.x has extended printing support where this can be properly fixed (i.e. have the ability to configure print options for print previews as well)
