Description Georg Schlisio 2011-06-21 00:57:33 UTC
Version: 4.6 (using KDE 4.6.3)
OS: Linux

as figured out here (https://trac.videolan.org/vlc/ticket/4606#comment:3) KDE prevents logoff/shutdown if vlc is running.
KDialog message appears: "Shotdown cancelled by vlc" (or similar) and vlc exits.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
- start vlc playing music/film/whatever
- klick shutdown in kickoff or logoff-button

Actual Results:
shutdown breaks, vlc exits

Expected Results:
shutdown

"Shutdown cancelled by vlc" means that shutdown was cancelled by vlc, enough said.
