Description CaCO3 2011-06-20 18:58:06 UTC
Version: 2.1.0 (using KDE 4.6.2)
OS: Linux

After an automatic update from kmail 2.0.96 to 2.1.0, the message view is broken.

It shows now something like this:

**b1_7bf4e9a186ec479b5f34f8f1f4176dda
Content*Type: text/plain; charset="UTF*8"
Content*Transfer*Encoding: quoted*printable

Also there are other non decoded symbols like =E2=80=9E or =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D
and image references:

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
Update to kmail 2.1.0

Actual Results:
Messages are decoded wrong

Expected Results:
As in previous kmail versions

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.38-8-generic
Compiler: cc

Note:
Issue still exists after updating to KDE 4.6.4.

It how ever only occurs on HTML mails.

Hi all

I am really sorry about this report.
I just figured out that it was all my fault.
To trace down the bug https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=260638, I created a filter which replaces all "-" with "*".
As it did not work in previous kmail versions I didn't remove it and completely forgot about it. Now this bug seems to be fixed and made my email go changed :)
