Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.4) OS: Linux Contacts should be sorted by birth date instead of formatted string. Currently, if you choose to sort contacts by birth date, it firsly sorts by month, then by day of month and then by year. For example, "22.05.89" goes after "09.05.79" (I use Russian locale, the date format here is "DD.MM.YY"). Reproducible: Always
There appears to be no way to change the sortring at all these days. Maybe this should be closed?
Sorting can be changed by clicking on a column header in the table of contacts in KAddressBook. I can still reproduce the bug on KDE SC 4.8.0.
Of course, I just only had/have the name column visible, and this is absolutely valid. Thanks :)
