Description Basti 2011-06-18 19:55:24 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.4)
OS: Linux

An implementation for gapless playback or crossfading would be great, so these features could be used by all KDE multimedia applications like Amarok.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Play a playlist with your favourite Phonon-using audio player.
2. Observe the silence between the tracks :(

Expected Results:
No gaps between the songs.

Phonon provides the necessary functionality. If it is not working with one of the supported backends (gstreamer or vlc) that would be a bug in the respective backend.

for precise gapless playback in Amarok, see bug 256734
