Version:           unspecified (using KDE 4.6.4) 
OS:                Linux

Enviroment variables like $BROWSER $MAIL $EDITOR $XTERM $FILEMANAGER nor $COMUNICATOR are not set. This affect applications which need those variables.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Run konsole and type: "echo $BROWSER" and see wheather variable is set.

Actual Results:  
Variables are not set. google-earth request $BROWSER variable which is not set.

Expected Results:  
Variables are set and applications that need variables run correctly.
