Description RussianNeuroMancer 2011-06-17 10:12:44 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.4)
OS: Linux

KWin doesn't enable panel transparency at all after disabling/enabling composition with fglrx. But if I disable compositing, restart X, enable compositing - panel is transparency.
The same problem with suspending/resuming composition and the same workaround (disable compositing, restart X, enable compositing).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
0. Panel is transperency.
1. Disable or suspend compositing.
2. Enable or resume compositing.

Actual Results:
Panel doesn't transparency.

Expected Results:
Panel is transperency.

Tested with Catalyst 11.6.
Video example attached.

I'm quite sure there's a duplicate for that.

I too. I try to search and read few tickets with suspend/resume problems and panel transperency problems, but didn't find same problem anywhere.

Bugzilla searching just sucks.
