Version: 2.1.0 (using KDE 4.6.3) OS: Linux Every time I trash a message from my IMAP inbox (whose trash folder is set to the local "KMail Folders/trash" folder), a notification appears that says, "KMail Folders: Cannot add email to folder trash because there is no email content". However, when I look in that trash folder, the message I trashed is there. Even if I quit KMail and restart it, the trashed message is still in the trash, so the error notification seems to be wrong. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: I don't know what preconditions lead up to this scenario, but it happens every time I trash a message from my inbox, which is on an IMAP server. It also happens if I drag a message from my IMAP inbox to my local trash and choose "Move" (which should theoretically be the same action as selecting the message and clicking the "Move to Trash" button on the toolbar). Actual Results: Error notification appears in popup near system tray that says "KMail Folders: Cannot add email to folder trash because there is no email content". Expected Results: If the "Move to Trash" operation is a success, there should be no error notification displayed.
This error notification also appears whenever I send an email, except the folder named in the notification message is "outbox" instead of "trash". And yet, despite the supposed error, the "outbox" folder shows 1 unread message briefly, and then none, and the message is successfully sent.
Still valid ?
*** Bug 275779 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present? If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kmail2 (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.12 or later), it gets closed in about three months.
Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
