Ever since I upgraded to the new KDE PIM 4.6 I can't create any new to-do. I keep clicking on the correct button, but nothing happens.

Reproducible: Always

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.38-CHAKRA
Compiler: gcc

Which button ?

Which view are you on ? ( attach a print-screen )

Do you have any calendar selected ?

Does the editor appear ?

New To-do, upper left corner.

> Which view are you on ? ( attach a print-screen )
To-do list (attached).

> Do you have any calendar selected ?
I'm not sure what this means. I just went to the to-do list to create a new to-do like I used to before.

> Does the editor appear ?
No, nothing appears.

Click on the calendar component.

On the lower right, you should see a list of calendars, probably "Personal Calendar".

It has a checkbox, enable it.

Then try again.

Thanks, that was it. It works now.

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of korganizer (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.
Comment 7 Denis Kurz 2017-01-07 22:37:18 UTC
Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
