Version: 4.4.10 (using KDE 4.6.4) OS: Linux Kontact settings dialog (and Kontact as well) should handle enabling/disabling sub service changes on-the-fly. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: * open settings, goto summary, you see the "notes" there. (see shcreenshot) * now disable the notes section Actual Results: I wnt now to have the notes section in the summary disabled (or vanished) as well. Expected Results: it stays where it is. even in the main window it stays there, you need a restart of Kontact to see the change! OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.38-10-generic Compiler: cc

Git commit 75e67eb19e06892b3aec5493bad7576d97684c84 by Montel Laurent. Committed on 16/10/2013 at 07:42. Pushed by mlaurent into branch 'KDE/4.11'. Fix Bug 275575 - Summary shows notes when they are disabled FIXED-IN: 4.11.3 description is html text so if we reduce text it will return just html code not text. oops was bug 247578 Reopen
This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present? If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kontact (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.
Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
