Application: nepomukservicestub (0.2) KDE Platform Version: 4.6.4 (4.6.4) Qt Version: 4.7.2 Operating System: Linux 2.6.38-8-generic i686 Distribution: Ubuntu 11.04 -- Information about the crash: - What I was doing when the application crashed: Nepomuk has crashed twice in the past two days. The first time, I was watching a video on VLC, and the second time, I was talking on Skype. The first time, every time I tried to restart Nepomuk, it would crash again. - Custom settings of the application: Last time kpackagekit was updating this computer to KDESC 4.6.4, it stalled. I restarted the computer before all of the packages finished installing. Afterwards, I couldn't see my updates again, so I haven't bothered trying to get them back. I don't know if this could be affecting my situation or not. The crash can be reproduced some of the time. -- Backtrace: Application: Nepomuk Service Stub (nepomukservicestub), signal: Aborted [Current thread is 1 (Thread 0xb78a3710 (LWP 11083))] Thread 3 (Thread 0xb5485b70 (LWP 11085)): #0 0x00363416 in __kernel_vsyscall () #1 0x0011a48c in pthread_cond_wait@@GLIBC_2.3.2 () at ../nptl/sysdeps/unix/sysv/linux/i386/i686/../i486/pthread_cond_wait.S:169 #2 0x00cf13fd in __pthread_cond_wait (cond=0x8d54490, mutex=0x8d54478) at forward.c:139 #3 0x003c5467 in wait (this=0x8d9c9a4, mutex=0x8d9c9a0, time=4294967295) at thread/qwaitcondition_unix.cpp:88 #4 QWaitCondition::wait (this=0x8d9c9a4, mutex=0x8d9c9a0, time=4294967295) at thread/qwaitcondition_unix.cpp:160 #5 0x01d99dc8 in Nepomuk::IndexFeeder::run (this=0x8d9c990) at ../../../../nepomuk/services/strigi/nepomukindexfeeder.cpp:188 #6 0x003c4da2 in QThreadPrivate::start (arg=0x8d9c990) at thread/qthread_unix.cpp:320 #7 0x00115e99 in start_thread (arg=0xb5485b70) at pthread_create.c:304 #8 0x00ce373e in clone () at ../sysdeps/unix/sysv/linux/i386/clone.S:130 Thread 2 (Thread 0xb4c84b70 (LWP 11086)): [KCrash Handler] #7 0x00363416 in __kernel_vsyscall () #8 0x00c3de71 in raise (sig=6) at ../nptl/sysdeps/unix/sysv/linux/raise.c:64 #9 0x00c4134e in abort () at abort.c:92 #10 0x00c74577 in __libc_message (do_abort=2, fmt=0xd4d8ac "*** glibc detected *** %s: %s: 0x%s ***\n") at ../sysdeps/unix/sysv/linux/libc_fatal.c:189 #11 0x00c7e961 in malloc_printerr (action=<value optimized out>, str=<value optimized out>, ptr=0x8c802e0) at malloc.c:6283 #12 0x00c8028b in _int_free (av=<value optimized out>, p=0x8c802d8) at malloc.c:4795 #13 0x00c8341d in __libc_free (mem=0x8c802e0) at malloc.c:3738 #14 0x003bebbd in qFree (ptr=0x8c802e0) at global/qmalloc.cpp:60 #15 0x00494f59 in ~QByteArray (this=0xb4201ad8) at ../../include/QtCore/../../src/corelib/tools/qbytearray.h:383 #16 QFSFileEngineIterator::advance (this=0xb4201ad8) at io/qfsfileengine_iterator_unix.cpp:73 #17 0x0048c998 in QFSFileEngineIterator::next (this=0xb4201ad8) at io/qfsfileengine_iterator.cpp:65 #18 0x004466fc in QDirIteratorPrivate::advance (this=0xb4202b28) at io/qdiriterator.cpp:217 #19 0x004468db in QDirIterator::next (this=0xb4c84224) at io/qdiriterator.cpp:457 #20 0x01d8f97e in Nepomuk::IndexScheduler::analyzeDir (this=0x8caca38, dir_=..., flags=...) at ../../../../nepomuk/services/strigi/indexscheduler.cpp:391 #21 0x01d903c4 in Nepomuk::IndexScheduler::run (this=0x8caca38) at ../../../../nepomuk/services/strigi/indexscheduler.cpp:338 #22 0x003c4da2 in QThreadPrivate::start (arg=0x8caca38) at thread/qthread_unix.cpp:320 #23 0x00115e99 in start_thread (arg=0xb4c84b70) at pthread_create.c:304 #24 0x00ce373e in clone () at ../sysdeps/unix/sysv/linux/i386/clone.S:130 Thread 1 (Thread 0xb78a3710 (LWP 11083)): #0 0x00363416 in __kernel_vsyscall () #1 0x00cf1753 in __lll_lock_wait_private () at ../nptl/sysdeps/unix/sysv/linux/i386/i686/../i486/lowlevellock.S:95 #2 0x00c84b94 in _L_lock_10338 () from /lib/i386-linux-gnu/libc.so.6 #3 0x00c83416 in __libc_free (mem=0x8e47368) at malloc.c:3736 #4 0x003bebbd in qFree (ptr=0x8e47368) at global/qmalloc.cpp:60 #5 0x0040e510 in QString::free (d=0x8e47368) at tools/qstring.cpp:1185 #6 0x00e2a7d3 in ~QString (this=0x8def230, __in_chrg=<value optimized out>) at ../../include/QtCore/../../src/corelib/tools/qstring.h:883 #7 QDBusMessagePrivate::~QDBusMessagePrivate (this=0x8def230, __in_chrg=<value optimized out>) at qdbusmessage.cpp:72 #8 0x00e2a955 in QDBusMessage::~QDBusMessage (this=0xb4200938, __in_chrg=<value optimized out>) at qdbusmessage.cpp:536 #9 0x00e1945d in QDBusActivateObjectEvent::~QDBusActivateObjectEvent (this=0xb42008f8, __in_chrg=<value optimized out>) at qdbusintegrator.cpp:1506 #10 0x00e19532 in QDBusActivateObjectEvent::~QDBusActivateObjectEvent (this=0xb42008f8, __in_chrg=<value optimized out>) at qdbusintegrator.cpp:1516 #11 0x004bcc81 in QCoreApplicationPrivate::sendPostedEvents (receiver=0x0, event_type=0, data=0x8b946d8) at kernel/qcoreapplication.cpp:1388 #12 0x004bce0d in QCoreApplication::sendPostedEvents (receiver=0x0, event_type=0) at kernel/qcoreapplication.cpp:1265 #13 0x004e63c4 in sendPostedEvents (s=0x8bcaa98) at ../../include/QtCore/../../src/corelib/kernel/qcoreapplication.h:220 #14 postEventSourceDispatch (s=0x8bcaa98) at kernel/qeventdispatcher_glib.cpp:277 #15 0x02706aa8 in g_main_context_dispatch () from /lib/i386-linux-gnu/libglib-2.0.so.0 #16 0x02707270 in ??
