Clearly this is not a bug - it's a suggestion relating to how the project is run. If you want to suggest moving to git then please bring it up on the developers mailing list.
Reopen since it is a wish for a feature or enhancement (see Severity: wishlist). If "wishlist" was not supported by bugs.kde.org it wouldn't be selectable ...
It is not an enhancement to valgrind though, it's an enhancement (if you view git as an enhancement over svn) to the way the project is run. I'll leave Julian to decide what to do with this, but frankly your attitude stinks. A proper approach might have been to come to the developers list and ask if we were interested in changing and offer to help. Instead you go ahead and do a conversion, without even asking any of the committers what email address they would like used, then come here and try and present it as a done deal - no "you should consider switching to git", just a presumptive "use git instead of svn" and then an attitude problem when asked to take it to the developers list.
