Version: unspecified (using KDE 1.2) OS: Linux In our research team we mainly use gnome and bazaar dvcs, even if in some machines we have KDE. Some apps like RKward (or Dolphin) run either under Gnome or KDE, would benefit from having integrated the menus for common Bazaar tasks. Otherwise, we need to quit that app., and open something like Bazaar Explorer (or work with emacss, eclipse, etc. which have the menus already integrated in them once a simple plugin is installed). I didi my best to gest this working following the previous work by two differnt sources, and I've posted a prototype of service menu at kde-apps: http://kde-apps.org/content/show.php?content=142321 Sorry for removing the "ServiceMenu" part of the folder, but under my scenario (Gnome + RKward & Dolphin), I had not folder with that name. And without that folder, everything seemed to work fine. (using Ubuntu 11.04 with gnome 2.x) Reproducible: Didn't try
The proper way to get Bazaar support would be to get a proper bzr plugin, otherwise you can consider using the file system view. KDE Service menus would clutter our UI too much and they might clash with our feature sets in some cases. If you're interested in working on some bzr support, please contact me.
@Xavi: We introduced a bazaar plugin a while ago. Does that solve your needs?
Yes, thanks, Kevin! I didn't use KDE for a while (the feature request was more than 4 years ago! :-) , but other desktops (currently using MATE on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS). I've just installed dolphin and dolphin-plugins-bazaar and I could see it in action. Thanks heaps! I'll mark it as fixed and close it. Thanks Xavi
