Description dolgener 2011-05-31 16:01:08 UTC
Version: 4.6.3 (using KDE 4.6.3)
OS: Linux

On recent konqueror version(s) the integration of kfind into "Tools" menu (DE: "Extras/Dateien suchen") obviously was dropped. This severely reduces usability.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
Start Konqueror in file manager mode (i.e. open /tmp or any local file URL).
Open "Tools" meni or press "Ctrl f".

Actual Results:
There is no way to start a kfind dialog from the currently selected path anymore, albeit /usr/bin/kfind still exists.

Expected Results:
kfind should come up, starting from the folder selected in konqueror's active pane.

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.37-2-amd64
Compiler: gcc
