Description IanB 2011-05-24 13:16:39 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.3)
OS: Linux

Some windows (e.g. nedit) are not maximized when dragged to the top edge or when the maximize button is clicked. Instead they are resized to near maximum size; the maximize button remains a maximize button rather than becoming a restore button and so it is not possible to restore the window to its previous size.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
open nedit.
drag to top edge of the screen (or click maximize button).
drag away from the top edge (or click button in the maximize button position)

Actual Results:
the window retains its full screen size

Expected Results:
the window should return to its original size
