Description Robin Haunschild 2011-05-23 19:19:21 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.4.5)
OS: Linux

It would be great to have the following extended functionality of Kontact:

I receive an email and want to make a note regarding this email. A right click and selection in the context menu or drag and drop on the component "Popup Notes" should offer the possibility to insert a note regarding this email. Whenever I click on this email my saved not should pop up.

A similar part actually exists with the "Create To-do/Reminder ..." dialog. Extending this, one might also have the possibility to combine this with the "To-do List" that also the self written note(s) with the email and the reminder pop up at the chosen remind time.

Reproducible: Always

Add note for a given email

This is available in KMail2 (from kdepim 4.6), see the attached screenshot.

The note is then attached to the email. See the 2nd screenshot

Thanks, let's hope it comes into Debian/stable or at least testing quickly (for Debian habits, of course).
