Using KMail 4.6 beta 5 here. When I mark any random a message as important or action item in the message list of one of my IMAP accounts, the message list gives no indication whatsoever that the message was just marked. The icon in front of the subject of the message just remains the same icon indicating that the message is read. Other e-mail clients change the icon to a message with an exclamation mark to indicate that it was marked as important.

This was failed against kdepim instead of kmail2, because I could not change that I filed bug #278685 and closed this one.
