Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.0) OS: Linux Addresses contained in a Libre Office spread sheet are to be imported in Kaddressbook. The table contains empty fields (e.g. no fax number) which appear in the csv file as follows: ,,,, (= three empty fields separated by commas). The parser disregards the empty fields thus data end up in the wrong columns. This bug has been reported before and is listed as fixed as of version 4.6, however, it seems it is not. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: Save LibreOffice-calc table (.ods) as text-csv ("save as"). Go to applications menu, open Kaddressbook, select addressbook, import csv-file. Actual Results: Parser wsindows opens and shows data in wrong columns, i.e. field contents are moved to the left when there are empty fields to the left of the field with content. Cancelled procedure. Expected Results: Show each field as in the original table. OpenSuse 11.4, LibreOffice 3.3.1.
Reproducible: yes.
Could you provide a test file (csv or ods), then I will test?
PLease excuse my late answer. I am now using Suse 12.1 and the problem no longer exists.
