By the way this bug report was done using kdelibs master git revision 5c15d7a..dc3f5b9
This is a duplicate of bug #272195 Also I'm pretty sure that the khtml developers are already aware of khtm's rendering problems with many sites, GMail included.
You should know that currently there are no 'khtml developers', Marks Orlovich afaik its currently the only html developer. And i think its not quite a duplicate report since in this report im refering things that are not refered in the other gmail bug report, still when i created this one yesterday i didnt checkout first, so it would be correct if you would set bug #272195 as being a duplicate of this one, since the other only refers gmail contact problem.
I didn't know that. But that just makes this bug reporting even more pointless.
I really dont get why should it be even more pointless...anyway can you set bug #272195 as being a duplicate of this one, and not otherwise, i should i need to close noth bugs and create a new one?
Because it is well know that KHTML has problems rendering many sites and if it was that easy to fix they would have done it already. Reporting is not going to help. I'd like to mark your other report a duplicate. But since I don't have any Bugzilla permissions we'll have to wait till someone who has sees this.
What the hell are your saying? So why are you still here taking care about html bugs? If theres no point reporting bugs just lets just close bugzilla hey? Theres just one...
I don't think you understand what I'm saying. All that I'm pointing out is that reporting well know problems is not going to help. If the developers are already aware of the problems reporting them isn't going get them fixed any faster. And the reason I'm still here is that not all reports concerns well know problems.
