Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.2) OS: Linux When you initially select a icon on the desktop of in dolphin it has nice rounded boarders. Once you start to drag it the font gets blurry, the drop shadow effect on the letters becomes off center, the icon becomes distorted, and, WORST of all, the nice rounded corner selection goes away and you are just left with two horizontal white lines on top and bottom of the icon. Please fix this! Something as simple as dragging an icon around should not be this appalling, and it is very noticeable and detracting from the KDE workspace. Please get this fixed ASAP, as it is one of many things holding KDE back from being the best desktop environment around. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: As simple as dragging Icons
Created attachment 60012 [details] Image showing the uglyness of the icon dragging This is an image I took of myself dragging icons around on my desktop to show the issue. This issue has been persistent throughout many kde versions that I have used, and both on Kubuntu and Pardus
I was not able to reproduce it (using KDE 4.7.3)
Hello! This bug report was filed for KDE Plasma 4, which reached end-of-support status in August 2015. KDE Plasma 5's desktop shell has been almost completely rewritten for better performance and usability, so it is likely that this bug is already resolved in Plasma 5. Accordingly, we hope you understand why we must close this bug report. If the issue described here is still present in KDE Plasma 5.12 or later, please feel free to open a new ticket in the "plasmashell" product after reading https://community.kde.org/Get_Involved/Bug_Reporting If you would like to get involved in KDE's bug triaging effort so that future mass bug closes like this are less likely, please read https://community.kde.org/Get_Involved#Bug_Triaging Thanks for your understanding!
