Version:           4.6 (using KDE 4.6.2)
OS:                Linux

kdeinit4 crash at boot, always, i have reinstall Xorg, kde and network management, i don't have a wacom tablet (kde-config-tablet), like i see on another bug

Reproducible: Always

It seems your connections' configuration files are corrupted. Can you try moving the directory ~/.kde/share/apps/networkmanagement/connections to another place and trying again?
Comment 2 Pedro Sá (kunst uber alles) 2011-05-14 18:24:24 UTC
I move ~/.kde/share/apps/networkmanagement/connections, reboot and now everything works ok, no crash and wireless is working.
Thanks

Can you send me your connections files? I want to investigate what exactly caused the crash to prevent it from happening in the future.

More information, maybe it helps.
This crash only starts after a upgrade to Natty, the /home is the same. All the rest is new, the upgrade didn't work because of some PPA's, even after a prune on the PPA's.
The crash start a few days after the upgrade. I have the Konsole resizing problem (Nvidia drivers bug) and after a crash i make a restore of the .kde directory with a backup, this backup was made before the upgrade to Natty.
Hope this helps
Thanks.

One of the connection files is empty:

{c11894e7-3b56-44cb-9c2b-54be0bc0cd05}

Plasma NM should have ignored the file, but it seems it is not doing it.

the empty file before upgrade, (not empty)
Comment 10 Pedro Sá (kunst uber alles) 2011-05-15 01:03:13 UTC
As you can see the file is not empty before and after the upgrade. i've made a manual backup in 2011-05-10 and the file is empty, i don't know the reason, maybe a crash.
