Description Simon Bateman 2011-05-13 12:12:20 UTC
Version:           0.7 (KDE4) (using KDE 4.6.0)
OS:                Linux

I am trying to setup a new ZTE MF112 mobile broadband device. After selecting country: UK - I get no provider's list - manual entry results in crash. Device works OK on my aged PC (ubuntu/gnome), also laptop is Dual Boot (windows 7/openSUSE 11.4) and MT112 works ok from Windows boot.

It will not let me create a useful crash report [missing files] !
and I am not sure how to load from list!

Reproducible: Always

I am also trying sakis3g as a workround! from my login at terminal I get:
administrator@linux-ocb8:/usr/bin> sakis3g connect
kdesu(11925)/kdesu (kdelibs) KDESu::KDEsuClient::command: [ /usr/src/packages/BUILD/kdelibs-4.6.0/kdesu/client.cpp : 207 ]  no reply from daemon.

after su root
password: xxxxxxxx
linux-ocb8:/usr/bin # sakis3g connect
kdialog(14580): Session bus not found

To circumvent this problem try the following command (with Linux and bash)
export $(dbus-launch)

tries this again x3

OpenSuse ships an old version of Plasma NM from November of last year. This bug has been fixed long ago.
