Description Daimonion 2011-05-12 01:04:39 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.2)
OS: Linux

Please make a native webcam application for KDE and ship it as part of kdeutils module.

Existent webcam applications for KDE either don't work or are very limited (by functionality or bloated dependencies). IHMO KDE needs a small and robust application with ability to capture pictures and videos from a webcam. Something what Cheese is for GNOME.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Kamoso is pretty decent, at list in its 2.0 version.

Well, I'm going to close this wish, maybe is a little bit presumptuous from my part, but at this point I'm quite confident that Kamoso is that small robust application.

We're in the process to move to extragear/kdegraphics.

Cheers!
