Version: 4.6 (using KDE 4.6.2) OS: Linux When I try to make a fileupload(firefox) during asunder or acetone are ripping, I can here that the start of the fileupload makes my DVD drive unfortunately busy(clock,clock,..). And this activity of the drive slows down the uploader rapidly. It takes more than 10 second until it has called the document folder. The problem is the check of the drive while it is highly busy. Don´t know which program performs this. It might be dolphin. Please make a shorter check, queue it or skip it. Reproducible: Always Expected Results: A not intermediate work flow would be fine.
You are speaking of Dolphin. Do you actually have Dolphin window open? If yes, does the problem go away when you close all Dolphin windows?
I mean that the firefox uploader seems to utilize dolphin for filesystem issues and don´t do it by itself. May be that there were other dolphin windows were open, but as far as I remember it also occures when only firefox do it´s jab. Next time when I not forget I look for this and post it here.
