Description allabos 2001-06-15 20:53:42 UTC
(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: kmail
Version: KDE 2.2.0 CVS/CVSup/Snapshot
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: Compiled sources
Compiler: Not Specified
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

I would like to specify the subject in the
popup dialog box that tells the user that
(s)he did not specify a subject. It saves
some clicks and feels more natural

IMHO the current behaviour is better. I guess it's a matter of taste.

Or what one is used to I am used to be able to specify in popup box when the
subject is empty. The subject has immediate focus which means I don't need
to perform the 2 clicks that are currently needed to come to the subject line.
It should of course be possible to discard the box (subject) is one does not
want to specify a subject.

I hope you leave the wish report open so it might be picked one day.

In the current developer version the subject line gets automatically
the input focus if you click on "Enter subject". So really only one
click is needed before you can enter the subject. After entering the
subject you have of course to click again on "Send" to finally send the
message.

I don't mind.

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
