Description S. Burmeister 2011-05-08 15:34:03 UTC
Version: 2.0.0 (using KDE 4.6.2)
OS: Linux

I had a look at the socs for the colour editing tools. It shows two pictures for each tool but I could not find any hint on which picture is the before and which one the after picture.

Reproducible: Always

Look on status bar, there is a tool button bar to switch preview mode.

"Before" and "after" annotation is displayed over editor canvas

:)

No, I really mean documentation! In the help/documentation there are example pictrues. Just two pictures. But the text does not state which one is the one before and which one is the one after.

It's not about the editor it's about the editor's documentation.

If you have a book describing what e.g. "auto level" does and there are two pictures, one of them should have the description "original picture" and the other "after auto level was applied". That description is missing in the docs.

The next generation of digiKam documentation based on Sphinx/ReStructuredText framework includes screenshots of Colors tools dialog with Before and After effect.
