The only difficulty I can see is that some holidays are based on the lunar calendar, and some are based on the gregorian calendar. Reproducible: Didn't try
Chinese lunar calendar support is a Google Summer of Code project, so we should be able to support those in the near future. In the meantime we can just hard code the dates for the next 5 years.

If I'm correct there is no holiday definition of Taiwan in KDE at all. It would be good if you could create such a file like the others in https://projects.kde.org/projects/kde/kdepimlibs/repository/revisions/master/show/kholidays/holidays/plan2 and attach it here.
