The problem was somehow caused by KDE4.6 (4.5?) which required a small patch in the KDiff3-docs to build. The opensuse KDiff3-packages are incomplete because of this. I'll provide a updated version soon, so you will be able to fix this by rebuilding yourself. Joachim

Didn't this work for you? Next step: <quote> If you find the documentation on that site, your distribution might ship a separate package for documentation (e.g. called kdepim-doc for all applications from the kdepim module, like KMail, Kontact, etc.). </quote> This reads "e.g called kdepim-doc for ... kdepim applications" So opened (suitable for my system) packages.ubuntu.com, entered "kdiff3" into the search box and got three packages kdiff3, kdiff3-doc, kdiff3-qt. Problem solvable via updating the system via package manager of the distribution.
