Description Danny Meyers 2011-05-03 18:05:33 UTC
Version: 1.9.0 (using KDE 4.6.2)
OS: Linux

Using Ubuntu 11.04 64-bit (up-to-date as of writing). When using the image editor, mousing over GNOME 3's multipurpose top bar does not cause the menu to display. It works properly the first time after starting Digikam, but usually fails upon re-opening the editor. The menu in the library browser still displays correctly. All other functionality is maintained.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
Start Digikam, choose a photo and open built-in image editor. Do some edits, save the photo (save as), and close the editor. Edit another photo.

Actual Results:
The menu bar in the built-in image editor did not display.

Expected Results:
Flash from window title to editor menu upon mouseover (typical GNOME 3 behavior).

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.38-8-generic
Compiler: cc

Sounds like a Qt / Gnome bug

With digiKam 5.0.0, this problem is not reproducible.
