Version: 1.0 (using KDE 4.4.5) OS: Linux Updating timelines on Choqok regularly consumes 100% of CPU, preventing ability to work with other apps for this period. In some cases this has led to a complete lockup of entire KDE system, with unresponsive keyboard inputs, forcing a hard reboot or hard shutdown. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: Update timelines. Actual Results: Had to turn off automatic timeline updates because renders system practically unusable with repeat CPU consumption and loss of ability to input from keyboard or mouse until update completes (and sometimes never as system locks up entirely and doesn't recover over long period of time). Expected Results: Such a simple app doing a simple thing should not consume 100% of CPU and never cause the entire system to go unresponsive, prevent keyboard/mouse inputs. OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.36.2-desktop-2mnb Compiler: gcc
A workaround to fix this temporarily is lowering number of posts to show in mainwindow (in General section of Configurations)
