Description alwin.mueller2 2011-04-22 10:28:14 UTC
Application: digikam (1.4.0)
KDE Platform Version: 4.5.1 (KDE 4.5.1)
Qt Version: 4.7.0
Operating System: Linux 2.6.35-28-generic x86_64
Distribution: Ubuntu 10.10

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed:

Re-organised underlying folder structure of my picture folder, i.e. I had many folders named after year-month-date in one main folder, which I moved to yearly sub-folders.

Digicam started to re-scan the collection when starting but always crashed before showing the main window.

The crash can be reproduced every time.

It's an Exiv library crash.

Which version you use. Go to Help/Components info for details.
