Description David Todd 2011-04-22 10:04:39 UTC
+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #271471 +++

Version: 1.5.1 (using KDE 4.6.1)
OS: Linux

If Akonadi starts successfully then the CPU monitor, network monitor and hardware temp widgets freeze. THe only way to resart them is to log uot and back in again and hope that Akonadi will crash.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Log into desktop, if Akonadi starts normally then problem occurs. If Akonadi crashes (as it usually does), then problem does not occur.

Fix your KDE installation. This has nothing to do with Akonadi.

"Fix your KDE installation"

Thank you for that advice. The obvious "fix" seems to be to uninstall Akonadi!
