Version: 4.6 (using KDE 4.6.2) OS: Linux Upgrading to kdelibs 4.6.2-1 when installing pclinuxos2010.12 and then using synaptic to install kdegames. Plasma workspace crashes, can't login in, need to resinstall. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Install pclinuxos2010.12, set repository to http://ftp.ntua.gr/pub/linux/pclinuxos/apt/ (but others have the same issue). install kdegames. It says if you're upgrading from kde 4.5, you should reboot, at which point system is unusable. I've tried 5 different ways today and the only thing I don't do now is reboot. Games aren't available, but rest of system is

I'd like to withdraw this problem. I think the real issue was some inconsistencies with the repositories for PCLINUXOS. I managed to find a 4.5 repository and I got everything working. I just think I tried to go to 4.6 without a consistent repository for the upgrade. Thanks, Lorne
