Description Christian Trippe 2011-04-18 19:52:47 UTC
Version: 2.0.89 (using KDE 4.6.2)
OS: Linux

kmail2 drops addresses from the list of receipents on reply (to all) if the corresponding name contains accented characters

Example:
The incoming mail contains

From: =?iso-8859-1?Q?Marc-Andr=E9?= Lastname <name@example.de>

After choosing reply (to all) The mail-address with name is correctly shown in the composer window

After clicking "send", kmail says "The mail was send successfully."

But if you look in the mail in the "send-mail" folder, The mail-address and the Name are missing. If you look at the source the corresponding entry is missing.

Choosing only reply to such a sender you can even create a succesful sent ,ail with no recipient in the header.

I am using text mails if this matters.

Reproducible: Always

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.37.1-1.2-desktop
Compiler: gcc
