Application: plasma-desktop (0.3) KDE Platform Version: 4.6.2 (4.6.2) Qt Version: 4.7.2 Operating System: Linux 2.6.33.7-pclos6.bfs i686 Distribution: "PCLinuxOS" -- Information about the crash: - What I was doing when the application crashed: The system had been updated with a large number of updates 370MB one of which was the video driver. This might be significant since my display a dell u2711 was being run less than its full resolution (presumably due to a driver restriction). The problem started when the system was rebooted after the update. The crash can be reproduced every time. -- Backtrace: Application: Plasma Workspace (plasma-desktop), signal: Aborted Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/share/gdb/auto-load/usr/lib/libgobject-2.0.so.0.2800.6-gdb.py", line 9, in <module> from gobject import register File "/usr/share/glib-2.0/gdb/gobject.py", line 3, in <module> import gdb.backtrace ImportError: No module named backtrace [KCrash Handler] #7 0xffffe424 in __kernel_vsyscall () #8 0xb5100291 in raise () from /lib/i686/libc.so.6 #9 0xb5101dbe in abort () from /lib/i686/libc.so.6 #10 0xb532c885 in __gnu_cxx::__verbose_terminate_handler() () from /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6 #11 0xb532a7a5 in ??
