Version: 1.13.6 (using KDE 4.6.1) OS: Linux If I create a new email or reply an email I expect the auto spelling to show me wrong words, because I have activated auto spelling in the context menu. But auto spelling is only activated if I go to Settings>Spell Checker and change the default language (I don't need to click "Ok" or "Cancel", just selecting a different language in the combobox will enable the auto spell checking). Only than the auto spelling is activated. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Create a new email or reply an email Enter text Right click on email Select "Auto Spell Check" Actual Results: Nothing happens Expected Results: Auto spell check should be enabled
Busted in Kubuntu's 11.04 release

Bunch of updates including some for KDE came through today, no change.
Clarification on behaviour: The 'spellcheck: on/off' in the footer changes, but no red squiggles appear. Turning spell check off then on via settings, spell checker works, but only for the current message, the next message composed wont spell check till the option is turned off and on again.
