Description Vadym Krevs 2011-04-15 10:44:04 UTC
Version: 0.1 (using KDE 4.6.2)
OS: Linux

IN Dolphin, go to Network in Places, Add Network Folder, select "Microsoft Windows network drive", and specify details of a password-protected network share, click FInish. You are then prompted for your domain credentials 5 or 6 times before the share contents are displayed. After entering the credentials for the first time, each time the auth dialog pops up again, it is prepopulated with previously entered credentials. Browsing share subfolders does not bring up the auth dialog.

Close dolphin, and start it again. Select the created network "place" and attempt to open it. Again, you are prompted for your domain credentials 5 or 6 times again, dialog fields are prepopulated each time, etc.

The domain credentials do seem to be stored in kwalletmanager

Reproducible: Always

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.37.1-1.2-desktop
Compiler: gcc

Same when using smb://<host>/share syntax via location bar in Dolphin. However, entering smb://<host>share in KOnqueror results in one initial prompt only.
